In the introduction section of this book I mentioned that my research and study could only take me to a certain point. There is an imaginary door between the physical and the Spiritual, the natural and the supernatural, that the natural man cannot go beyond unless guided by the Holy Spirit.

There is only one key that can unlock this door; a key that God chose to give to every descendent of Adam. God, by His love and His grace gave every man and woman ever born a measure of faith, which has the potential to unlock that door!

However faith alone will not unlock the door, just as your house key will not unlock the door while it is in ones pocket. The key must be inserted in the lock and then turned in order to unlock the door.

Jesus said it best ‘knock and it shall be opened”. One can stand in front of that door with all the faith, all the knowledge of God, observing all the rituals of the religion he or she was born into, obeying the words of the hierarchy and the elders, but unless he or she knocks on the door, it will remain shut.

As we have seen in the last chapter, man’s sinful nature inherited by our forefather Adam, separated us from the fellowship and protection of God, and clouded our minds and changed our priorities. We pursue and do our own thing. We re-created God in our own fallen image. We neither see the need or the desire to walk up to the door, let alone knock on it.

Our fallen sinful nature will not seek after God, because it is in a constant warfare with the Holy nature of God. Had it not been for the Holy Spirit all mankind would be doomed. The Holy Spirit can penetrate this carnal veil that surrounds our body and soul, and communicate with our spirit in a silent voice, urging us to remember Yahweh, our Creator, constantly trying to guide us to that door, and giving us the will and the strength to knock.

Unfortunately the Holy Spirit has an adversary, similar to the fundamental laws of physics by which our physical world is subject to; to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Satan also has the ability to talk silently, but not to our spirit, for he dreads that confrontation, but rather to our natural senses, constantly tempting us with things that will increase the gap between us and our Holy Creator.

Satan tried unsuccessfully through the ages to totally wipe out man’s memory and desire to seek after his Creator. With the passage of time the gap between God and man has grown so wide that man was confused about the true Yahweh, so he ventured to create his own gods. No matter how hard Satan tried, there is no power in heaven or earth that could wipe out man’s memory of the Garden where the created and Creator lived in harmony.

History bears record that as far back as archeological records of the human race can take us, man was never without a form of godliness, always worshipped and sacrificed to a deity, that in many cases he himself created with his own hands.

This form of godliness is present to the present day. It is perhaps better represented and more sophisticated, nevertheless it still remains a form of godliness.

During the passage of the eons of time, the real God, Yahweh, the Creator of all things, was kept ‘alive’ by Abraham and his sons Ishmael and Jacob. The descendents of Ishmael soon went after pagan gods - We have seen in chapter three, that the Arabs residing in the Arab Peninsula during Muhammad’s time on earth, (including his tribe) worshipped the three pagan goddesses.

It was left up to one tribe, the tribe of Israel, to keep the torch of the true God burning. They suffered great persecutions because of their stand for Yahweh. The sufferings, humiliation, and persecution they endured hardened their hearts to the point that it caused them to miss the greatest hour of their destiny, the hour of their visitation: “… and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knowest not the time of thy visitation.” (Luke 19:44)

God is not so unjust as to forget bani Israil (the children of Israel), who against all odds kept the torch of Yahweh burning until Mary, a young Jewish virgin maiden, after being visited by the Holy Spirit, gave birth to a Holy child called Jesus.

BY INVITATION ONLY

I have tried to tell the story of Jesus and who I believe He is. I used logical arguments, quotes, and process of elimination (all natural carnal means) to show that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, foretold in the Torah, who shed His blood on the cross at Calvary for the sins of mankind.

I realized from the very start that logical arguments will not and cannot reveal to the reader who Jesus is. God forbid that a formula (just hypothetical) would be found that proves a hundred percent the existence of God and the Deity of Jesus. For if that happened salvation would seize, because hundred percent knowledge does not require any faith, and without faith there can be no salvation.

I said the above in order to make it clear to the reader that only the Holy Spirit can reveal Jesus Christ to an individual. My purpose then was not to reveal Jesus to you, because that is beyond any man’s capabilities, but rather to challenge your mind and soul, and stir the spirit that is in you, so as to be receptive and accept the invitation by the Holy Spirit to reveal to you who Jesus is.

Through the passage of time many good-meaning-leaders have entered the world scene. Many sought a better life for their fellow citizens. Some founded religions and philosophies in an effort to fill a void in man’s heart. Many have sought after attaining holiness and righteousness by various means. Some became aesthetics, others denied the fleshly desires of this world, yet others deemed it necessary to punish themselves for the quilt of sin that is apparent in their lives by subjecting their bodies to severe torture.

MAN’S CONSCIOUS VINDICATES THE CROSS

Muslims celebrate each year the Day of Atonement. Each family chooses a male member (first in line is the firstborn son, followed by the father etc.,) to represent it in the atonement procession. An event that cannot be done in secret, an event that must be done out in the open that the whole world can witness. This individual must wear white raiment. Small incisions are made to his flesh, starting at the scalp, with a sharp knife or blade. He is also given a whip by which he beats himself during the procession while his white raiment slowly begins to turn to red from the blood that is dripping from the self inflicted wounds.

The amazing thing is that each family is required to atone for itself, even if it abided by the tenants of Islam. The practice makes it clear that a Muslims is well aware of the fact that he cannot attain holiness by his good works, so he tries to atone for himself and his family by willfully and torturing his body and shedding his blood.

Is it a coincidence that the same method was also used about two thousand years ago, when Yahweh gave the only Holy and Righteous male that was conceived without the help of a man, but rather by the power of the Holy Spirit. He was created without sin and through obedience remained sinless. He was born with the nature of God, and Yahweh, the God of Abraham and Moses calls Him Son: 'I will proclaim the decree of the Lord: “Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee” (Psalm 2:7)

Who am I, who are you, and who is Abu Bakr, to dispute what God Himself proclaimed!

Abiding to His True nature of doing things, and just as He declared to mankind that the old testament (former things) of unattainable righteousness by works will one day be replaced by a New Testament (new thing) of attaining righteousness by grace, and validated it by the mouths of several prophets, commands His prophets to validate the fact that Jesus is His Son, and He is His Father:

(2 Samuel 7:14) “I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:”

(Psalm 89:26)  “He will call to me, 'Avi ata' - 'You are my Father.”

(Psalm 2:7)  'I will proclaim the decree of the Lord: “Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee”

(Isaiah 9:6) “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

I tried to show the best I know how that mankind cannot claim Jesus as one of its own. When He came to this sinful human race, mankind did not recognize Him…because He was not of this world. Only Yahweh can claim Him because He created Him. Only Yahweh can call Him Son because Jesus did the works of His Father.

God so loved the world that He too, like every Muslim family, gave His Son on a hill, that the whole world could bare witness of the suffering and the pain… and just like the Muslim male, Jesus also willfully chose to shed His blood for the atonement of the sin of His family… which is the whole human race in general, and you in particular!

I tried to show you in the pages of this book that none of the above would suffice unless man’s inherent sin that he inherited from Adam is forgiven. I also quoted verses from the Torah and the Quran about God’s prescribed punishment for sin, and that God requires the shedding of blood for the remission of sin – an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.

I have also quoted prophecies about a suffering Messiah that were proved to be authentic by the Dead Sea Scrolls.
I showed you something history and even your own conscious bears witness to; that there is no historical figure, other than Jesus, who can even remotely fit the model of this suffering Messiah.

I asked why was the virgin birth necessary, when all other prophets accomplished their tasks without being born Holy and righteous. I showed the reader that the virgin birth could only serve one and one purpose alone; only a Holy individual can forgive sin.

Jesus fulfilled all the criteria to be the suffering Messiah, “the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world” And now it is all up to you. The rest of the way you can only go it alone….who do you say that Jesus is?
